Where to start?
The first step in learning to drive is to book an initial driving lesson with a reputable driving school. This will give you time to work on the problems highlighted by your instructor.
The number of further driving lessons will vary from person to person and will depend on how quickly you learn.
Most driving lessons are for one hour although two hour lessons may be required when practicing more difficult manouvres like parallel parking.

How many driving lessons do I need?

The Driving Standards Agency (the official ….. In England) currently recommends 45 hours of lessons plus 22 hours of practice with family and friends. Your previous driving experience, your age and how often you take your driving lessons can make a difference.
